Medical Industry Organizations of San Antonio (MIOSA)

To support the emerging San Antonio medical technology industry by facilitating networking, promote collaboration and serve as an informal advisory board to the community.  MIOSA creates networking opportunities for emerging biomedical companies in the San Antonio area through informal and organized meetings with clear objectives to communicate industry issues in an open forum. The group will include medical technology industry partners that are new or emerging companies with fewer than 50 employees that are working toward the development, manufacture, marketing and sales of commercial products.

UTSA Center for Innovation and Technology Entrepreneurship (CITE)

The Center for Innovation and Technology Entrepreneurship (CITE), an interdisciplinary center in the Colleges of Business and Engineering at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), was established in 2006 to create a pipeline for UTSA faculty, students and surrounding business community to develop new technology ventures.

UT Medicine Cancer Therapy and Research Center

Is the premiere cancer treatment and research center in Central and South Texas.  They also conduct research and clinical trials, teaming with the National Cancer Institute, the National Institutes of Health and other universities to discover new cures and treatments for cancer.
